The Church Ruins are a major location in Darkwood.
Found in the outskirts of the map, very far away from the hideout, this location consists of a ruined church with multiple graveyards attached to it and cryptic signs on the ground.
Inside the back of the church are some locked trapdoors leading underground. One of the side rooms appears to have been used as a safe room with a generator and some decent loot inside. A door leading outside is locked but can be opened with a lockpick.
The madman can be found sitting near the trapdoor at the center of the church. He sometimes gives away the 4-digit code combination required for opening the trapdoor.
Notable loot
The Bible Passage can be found in a destroyed side room on a backpack.
Trivia
- Currently, this location does not show its actual map icon (a cross) but that of the Creepy House. It is assumed to be a bug.
- The Church Ruins are also the location that is visited during The Church dream event.
