The Crop Field is a location in the Dry Meadow.
It consists of hedges arranged as a maze. An unlocked crate can be found in a clearing at the maze's end, containing a 9V Battery and two Small Caliber Magazines. After looting the crate, a huge dog will spawn, ready to attack the Protagonist.
A disassembled tractor is also present outside the maze.
Strategy
- Getting a better weapon than the Board With Nails is recommended before looting the crate. Huge Dogs are a major step up from regular dogs and can be a serious threat to an inexperienced player, but a Pitchfork or Shovel makes short work of them, even without upgrades.
Trivia
- The location was introduced in Alpha 6.0.
- The corpse can be accessed by standing near it outside of the maze, without demanding that the player navigate through the field to get its items.
- The corpse also used to contain one Shovel Blade prior to Alpha 8.0.
