It can be found around the map or bought from various traders for 40 Reputation each.

Tape is used to craft the Axe, Shovel, Pistol, Single Shot Shotgun, Hunting Rifle, and Double Barrel Shotgun. It is also used to upgrade and repair melee weapons.
