Alert minorThis article contains minor spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.

Template Documentation

Note: The template above may sometimes be partially or fully invisible.

Visit Template:Spoilers/doc to edit this documentation. (How does this work?)

This template is for use on articles that contain plot details. There are two spoiler "levels". Important plot details are major, while trivial or unimportant plot details are minor.

Usage Edit

The following template call should be included either at the top of a page, or right below a section heading:

{{Spoilers|<article or section>|level=<minor or major>}}

Both parameters are optional. Parameter 1 defaults to article and the parameter level defaults to minor.

Examples Edit

{{Spoilers|level=major}} gives this:

Alert majorThis article contains major spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.

…while {{Spoilers|level=minor}} gives this:

Alert minorThis article contains minor spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.

which is the same as just {{Spoilers}}

If the template is going in a section and the spoiler warning does not apply to the entire article, you can add a section parameter, which adjusts the warning text.

{{Spoilers|section|level=major}} gives…

Alert majorThis section contains major spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.
